Anti Social Behaviour (ASB)

The Isle of Wight (IOW) Community Safety Partnership is committed to tackling anti social behaviour in all its forms, through working effectively together.

In early 2010 The Home Office introduced a set of minimum standards for anti-social behaviour. To read a copy of the Home Office Press release click here.

The IOW Community Safety Partnership has produced an anti-social behaviour pledge. To view a copy, please click here.

Volunteers needed for Victim Support

A service that provides emotional support and practical help to victims of crime and their families is calling for volunteers to bolster its team on the Island.

Victim Support, whose services range from community visits to helping victims get through the process of giving evidence in court is looking to attract new volunteers interested in helping this important service.

Any input either as a volunteer or as a fundraiser, would be appreciated. Previous experience or qualifications are not necessary as training on the Island will be provided and there is also flexibility for volunteers to work the hours that are suitable for them. Expenses will also be met.
